A recent Village Voice article, “With Autism Diagnoses on the Rise, New York universities Offer Students Help” by Elizabeth Walters highlighted programs for students on the autism spectrum.
Among the colleges or programs featured in the article were CUNY Project Reach, Chapel Haven, Pace University Manhattan OASIS Program, Vocational Independence Program at New York Institute of Technology- Central Islip, Rutgers University, and Bridges to Adelphi University.
Dr. Fred Volkmar of the Yale Child Study Center and Jane Thierfeld Brown of the University of Connecticut School of Law were quoted in the article.
